Qudos Bank Arena Is Becoming Afterpay Arena
Sydney Olympic Park’s iconic entertainment venue is getting a new name. Qudos Bank Arena is set to become Afterpay Arena, following a new five-year naming rights partnership with buy-now-pay-later platform Afterpay.
As part of the deal, the venue is rolling out integrated Afterpay and Square payment technology across the guest experience, from ticket purchases through to food, drinks and merchandise on the night. New signage and interior refreshes are already underway, with the full rebrand expected to be completed later this year. Importantly, the events calendar isn’t affected during the transition, all scheduled shows will go ahead as planned.
Guests will be able to use Afterpay’s instalment option to pay for tickets over time, and Square’s point-of-sale systems will be rolled out at bars, retail stands and ticket booths throughout the venue.
